International Design Award for REVEGO: iF DESIGN AWARD 2025
Selected from over 10,000 entries across 66 countries, REVEGO’s iECO stood out in the product category for its eco-friendly structure, user-centered design, and technological excellence, earning the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2025. The evaluation process was conducted by a distinguished jury of 131 independent design experts from 25 countries. iECO was assessed based on five main criteria: Distinctiveness, Form and Aesthetics, Functionality, Idea and Innovation, and Social Impact.
REVEGO’s iECO reverse vending machines are designed to accelerate the recycling process of empty beverage containers and promote environmental sustainability. All software, automation, and operational systems were developed by the R&D Center operating under the umbrella of ÜÇGE Group Companies, which includes REVEGO. iECO initiates the recycling process by accepting PET, aluminum, and glass beverage packaging waste and returning the deposit fee. Equipped with smart sensors, the machine detects the waste and reduces its volume through a crushing and shredding system. With its durable body, ergonomic design, touch screen interface, intelligent sensor technology, and modular structure, iECO offers a fast, accessible, and efficient recycling experience. Its low energy consumption and sustainable design minimize environmental impact throughout its entire lifecycle.
The award ceremony, held in Berlin, welcomed over 2,000 distinguished guests, including industry leaders and prominent figures from the design world. Following the ceremony, Esra Güven, Chairperson of ÜÇGE Group Companies, stated:
